Our town is called Ichibacho, and is said to be the town where is the birthplace of Chiba city. It prospered as one of Chiba City's leading towns with the relocation of the Chiba Prefectural Government from Kisarazu to Chiba Town(at that time).
And now Ichibacho is said to be the government town of Chiba including the neighboring town. Inohana mountain located in Ichibacho. The hall where Mr. Chiba ruled was moved from Kazusaoujijyo to this place. And the Chiba castle is built. Then the hall is commonly known as a local museum, and many events are held.
